New Home in Ann Arbor

from Google map

The red pins indicate my new home in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The part above the Huron river is North Campus.
North Campus is home of music, art & architecture and almost all engineering students of U of M.
However, there is nothing but department buildings on North Campus.
It's sadly similar to 301 bldg. in SNU.

Most fun things are on Central Campus that forms downtown area as you see in the satellite map.
So I'm trying to spend as much time as I can before the semester begins.

There is a huge football stadium on South Campus right above golf courses on bottom of the maps.
The Big House (people call it here) can accomodate all population in Ann Arbor.
It sounds really absurd to build such a huge stadium for its relatively small population.

Because the latitude of Ann Arbor is higher than Seoul, the sun set really late these days: nearly 9:00 pm.
In winter, however, it is said that the sun will set about 5:00 pm.
